Debra Swift, B.C., H.I.S.

Debra Swift is the founder and president of Swift Audiology & Hearing Aid Service. She has been serving the hearing impaired in the Washington, Fayette, Westmoreland, Green, and Allegheny County areas for more than twenty years.

Debra Swift is Nationally Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences, and is registered to dispense hearing aids by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Debra was elected to the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Hearing Healthcare Association, and served as past Treasurer and is currently serving as Secretary. PHHA is a professional association representing hearing health care professionals in legislative, educational and fair trade matters.

Debra's dedication to helping her patients hear well again extends to every facet of her business including the careful selection of highly qualified team members.

Swift Audiology brings the highest diagnostic skills to the practice by employing Certified Clinical Audiologists. In addition, all Swift Hearing Instrument Specialists attend accredited continuing education classes frequently to stay current on new technology and hone their skills. Swift offers a Full Time staff of highly credentialed Professionals including Two Doctor's of Audiology and our Senior Staff Clinical Audiologist.

Senior Audiologist, has over 20 years of experience working in the field of audiology, and has been an employee at Swift Audiology for 9 years. She received her masters' degree in Audiology from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. Before joining the Swift team, Leslie has had the opportunity to serve a diverse population by providing rehabilitative services at several locations, some of which include, a non-profit Speech and Hearing Center in Ohio, the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center in Wheeling WV, a private ENT practice , and the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Leslie's main focus as a clinical audiologist is to promote healthy hearing, communication competency, and quality of life for the hearing impaired population. In her spare time, Leslie enjoys spending time at home with her family, and is involved with various organizations in her community.

Dr. Battisti received her degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed her residency at Vanderbilt University, where she specialized in adult hearing loss, hearing aid technology, and dizziness and balance disorders. Dr. Battisti says that the most important part of her job is to help patients improve their every day life through better hearing. To achieve that goal, she feels the individual needs of each patient must be the focus of every appointment. Outside of work, Dr. Battisti enjoys spending time with her new husband, hiking with her German Shepherd, and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys!

Dr. Carnes has over 4 years experience working in the field of audiology, and has been employed at Swift Audiology for 2 years. She received her Doctorate degree at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. Melissa had the opportunity to work at Ohio Valley Medical Center before joining the Swift team where she specialized in balance testing. Melissa feels that in order to be a good audiologist she must be a good listener. In order to fully help someone you must understand their needs, once this has been established a solution can be provided to help the patient succeed and improve their quality of life. Melissa's number one goal is to improve the quality of life for all her patients. Melissa enjoys spending quality time with her family and the outdoors biking.
